PitchScan/Pitch deck evaluator
Pitch Deck Evaluator
Generic feedback tells you the deck "could be tighter". An investment committee tells you who votes against you, on which slide, and why. This evaluator is built like the second one.

01 · The difference
Feedback vs evaluation.
The words get used interchangeably. The outputs could not be more different.
| Question | Generic feedback | Committee evaluation |
|---|---|---|
| Who reads it? | One reviewer, one perspective, usually trying to be helpful. | Five adversarial archetypes, each hunting for a different reason to pass. |
| What comes back? | Suggestions: "clarify the market slide", "add traction". | A verdict: score, grade, votes, and findings ranked by severity. |
| Where is the tension? | Smoothed away. One voice averages the objections out. | Preserved. The debate shows which objections survived argument. |
| What do you do next? | Guess which suggestion actually matters. | Fix in order. Severity ranking tells you what kills meetings first. |
02 · Why it matters
Your deck will be evaluated either way.
Every deck you send gets an investment-committee treatment eventually. Partners read it separately, argue in a Monday meeting you will never attend, and vote. The only choice you have is whether the first committee your deck faces is the one that counts, or a simulated one you can learn from and iterate against for free.
The PitchScan evaluator preserves the part generic tools throw away: the disagreement. When the Value Skeptic and the Growth Partner argue over your projections, the winner of that exchange decides your deduction, and the report shows you the exchange. That is an evaluation you can act on, not a vibe you have to interpret.

Evaluation questions.
What is the difference between an evaluation and feedback?
Feedback is an opinion about your deck. An evaluation is a decision process applied to it. Investment committees do not exchange impressions, they argue toward a vote: fund or pass. PitchScan reproduces that structure, which is why its output is a verdict with an audit trail instead of a list of suggestions.
Who evaluates my deck?
Five simulated VC archetypes, each tuned to one recurring pattern of real investor pushback: unit economics, market and momentum, product and moat, timing and competition, and narrative craft. No human sees your deck, and no persona represents a real investor or firm.
Do the evaluators ever disagree?
Constantly, and on purpose. Disagreement is where the information is. A deck the whole committee likes for different reasons is strong. A deck that splits the room 3 to 2 tells you exactly which partner archetype will kill your real meeting, and on which slide.
What do I get from the free evaluation?
